Gyeonggi Content Agency (President Yong-seok Tak, hereinafter referred to as Gyeonggi Content Agency) announced that it will be recruiting companies to participate in the 'Gyeonggi XR Center Space Support and Virtual Office Support in the Second Half of 2025' until 3:00 PM on October 23 to support the growth of startups in the virtual convergence and new technology convergence fields in Gyeonggi Province.
Recruitment is open to startups needing independent offices, as well as companies in the pre-incorporation stage and aspiring entrepreneurs. Selected companies will be able to move into or use the Gyeonggi XR Center's address starting December 1, 2025.
The Gyeonggi XR Center, located near Gwanggyo Jungang Station on the Shinbundang Line, is a specialized support facility for companies specializing in virtual convergence (metaverse, VR, AR, XR) and new technologies (e.g., AI). Tenant companies can use private offices by paying an annual fee, with no deposit or management fee required. They can also freely use shared spaces such as conference rooms, lounges, and event halls. Equipment rental and testing environments for content development are also provided free of charge. Various growth support programs, including seminars, expert consultations, and networking events, are also offered for resident companies.
Virtual office support allows businesses to register without a physical location, allowing aspiring entrepreneurs and sole proprietors to utilize a physical address, shared facilities, and a designated mailbox.
For space support, three companies are recruited: one six-person office and two eight-person offices. For virtual office support, qualified companies will be selected through a document screening process. The initial occupancy period is one year, with the option to extend for up to two years upon review.
A Gyeonggi XR Center official said, “The biggest advantage of the Gyeonggi XR Center is that it provides practical startup infrastructure so that technology-based content companies can focus on their work and development,” adding, “Through this recruitment, we will accelerate the growth of promising startups and strengthen the foundation of the virtual convergence content industry in the province.”
Companies wishing to participate should check the details on the Gyeonggi Content Agency website's business announcement bulletin board and submit their application documents via email by 3:00 PM on October 23rd.
