DanceTruck Signs Business Agreement with Orbit Entertainment

Dancestruct (Co-CEOs Hye-rin Yoon and Se-gi Oh), which operates the 3D choreography data distribution platform 'XSTAGE', announced on the 29th that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with Orbit Entertainment (CEO Si-baek Yang), a virtual YouTuber (VTuber) content specialist, for content production and promotion cooperation.

This agreement aims to establish a cooperative system in various fields, including ▲joint promotion of virtual creator IP, ▲distribution of 3D motion data, and ▲planning and production of virtual YouTuber content, based on the technology and content capabilities of both companies.

Under the agreement, Orbit Entertainment will appoint its virtual creators as official ambassadors for Xtage and provide comprehensive support for their activities. Dancestruct will provide the technological infrastructure, including motion capture-based 3D choreography data, through which the two companies will expand their reach with the fandom and jointly develop various forms of experimental content.

In particular, through this collaboration, the two companies plan to establish a full-cycle collaboration model encompassing content production, streaming, and distribution by linking Orbit's global VTuber streaming solution with DanceStruct's 3D motion data platform. Orbit plans to utilize Xtage's motion data for real-time broadcast content, and commercially distribute its IP-based choreography content through the Xtage platform.

Dancestruct collaborates with domestic and international choreographers to produce 3D motion content centered around K-dance, then digitally transforms it into a distributable asset. Through this agreement, the company is exploring expansion into various content formats, including short-form videos and real-time interactions.

Yoon Hye-rin, co-CEO of Dancestruct, said, “This collaboration goes beyond a simple content partnership and is an example of designing a business structure that reflects a practical, creator-centered profit model.” She added, “Going forward, we will expand the content ecosystem through connections with various industries, including not only VTubers but also games and the metaverse.”

Yang Si-baek, CEO of Orbit Entertainment, said, “We will be able to secure the scalability and sustainability of YouTuber content through the new business axis of motion data distribution,” and added, “We will expand the scope of IP utilization by challenging various content formats in the future.”
