Ridibooks Selected as a TSE Asia Startup Hub for Second Consecutive Year

Global content company Ridibooks Inc. (CEO Bae Ki-sik, hereinafter referred to as Ridibooks) announced that it has been selected for the 'TSE (Tokyo Stock Exchange) Asia Startup Hub' hosted by the Tokyo Stock Exchange for the second consecutive year.

The TSE Asia Startup Hub program selects promising Asian startups, promotes business expansion in the Japanese market, fosters collaborations with local companies, and supports listing on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. This year, 20 startups from seven countries were selected, and Ridibooks has been included for the second consecutive year, further demonstrating its status as a global content company.

Following its successful entry into the Japanese webtoon market based on its original IP, Ridibooks recently launched its global short drama platform, "Kanta," expanding its content business in Japan. With its selection as a TSE Asia Startup Hub, Ridibooks plans to build stable partnerships with local Japanese companies and focus more on conquering the short drama market, centered around "Kanta."

Bae Ki-sik, CEO of Ridibooks, said, “The support of the TSE Asia Startup Hub was a great help in Ridibooks’ process of settling into the Japanese content market, and it is very meaningful to be selected for the second consecutive year.” He added, “We will continue to expand the influence of K-content in Japan and grow into a platform that leads global K-culture.”
