Dr. Presso Wins Musinsa Special Award in the Scale-Up Category of the Social Venture Innovation Competition

At the '9th Social Venture EXPO Innovation Competition' hosted by Seongdong-gu, Seoul (Mayor Jeong Won-oh), Doctorpresso (CEO Jeong Hwan-bo) won the 'Musinsa Special Award' in the scale-up category.

This EXPO, held for two days from September 17th to 18th in the area around Understand Avenue in Seongsu-dong, was designed as a venue for communication to share the achievements of social ventures that have realized social value through innovative business models under the theme of “10 Years of Seongdong Social Ventures, Creating the Future Together.”

In particular, the Innovation Competition, a representative national competition, received a total of 130 million won in business development funds through public-private-academic cooperation, including KT&G, Musinsa, Socar, and Hanyang University.

DoctorPresso aims to provide precision diagnostic software, similar to an ultrasound machine in the mental health field, by visualizing emotional changes through AI technology.

At the Mobile World Congress (MWC) held in Barcelona, Spain in March, the company commercialized voice-based psychiatric diagnosis technology and was selected as a finalist in the GLOMO Awards' Best Mobile Innovation for Connected Health and Wellbeing category.

The prize money from this Social Venture Innovation Competition will be used to advance research into precision mental health diagnostic technology. Currently, the company is providing accessible, text-based mental health management services through the "Mind Convenience Store" app.

CEO Jeong stated, “Based on the convenience store service that provides positive experiences and trust in mental health medicine, we aim to discover previously undiscovered patient needs through the development of precise psychiatric diagnostic technology and expand and innovate the mental health market itself.”
