
The Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Noh Chung-sik) announced on the 25th that it held the "2025 Southeast Region Innovation Organization Joint IR" on the 6th floor of its headquarters. The event was co-hosted by the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, the Busan Research and Development Special Zone, and the Jinju-Changwon-Gimhae Small and Medium Business Special Zones.
The event featured startups incubated by various innovation organizations, who competed fiercely to attract investment and promote their services through IR (Investment Proposal) presentations. With a total prize pool of 6 million won, the event included pre-event mentoring and preparation sessions to strengthen investment capabilities, providing participating companies with practical investment opportunities and a networking platform.
Major domestic VCs and investment institutions, including Big Bang Angels, Now IB Capital, Samik Mats Ventures, Hanwha Investment & Securities, Daedeok Venture Partners, Blue Corner Capital, LX Investment, Hyosung Ventures, Intops Investment, and Gyeongnam Venture Investment, participated in the evaluation to ensure a fair evaluation.
The Grand Prize (Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center CEO Award) went to Biosion Co., Ltd. Biosion garnered attention for its "functional early-stage feed (Moina) and DHA-seahorse and seahorse-based products." Currently participating in the 2023 Preliminary Startup Package and the 2025 Startup Leap Package as a Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center incubator, the company is continuing its growth and is expected to make further strides in the future. This award carries a cash prize of 3 million won.
Next, Ellexlab Co., Ltd. and BNY Energy Co., Ltd. received the Grand Prize (prize money of 1 million won), while Dentiple Co., Ltd. and DSolve Co., Ltd. received the Excellence Prize (each of 500,000 won). BNY Energy Co., Ltd., the grand prize winner, is an excellent company selected for the 2025 TIPS with the item of "Development of Electric Vehicle (EV) Battery Development Certification Solution."
Noh Chung-sik, CEO of the Gyeongnam Creative Economy Innovation Center, said, “This event was a meaningful opportunity for local innovation players to join forces and support the growth of startups.” He added, “The center will continue to work closely with the Busan Research and Development Special Zone and the Jinju-Changwon-Gimhae Small and Medium Business Special Zones to actively support local companies so they can leap onto the global stage.”
