Unity (NYSE: U), a real-time 3D content creation platform, announced that it held a technology conference for industry professionals, 'U DAY Seoul: Industry', at the Korea Science and Technology Center in Gangnam-gu, Seoul on September 26.
Under the theme "Transform Your Business, Powered by Unity: Start Your Business Innovation with Unity," the event focused on Unity-based digital twin technology and its use cases across various industries. Eight presentation sessions and 14 demo booths, covering solutions for industries such as manufacturing, construction, logistics, and healthcare, provided a platform for sharing practical technical insights.
In the opening session of the event, Youngjae Jeon, Senior Solutions Engineer at Unity, introduced the key features and technical support of the Unity Industry solution. The following presentations introduced ▲SK AX's 2D map-based HBM stack map 3D conversion case ▲Metanet Digital's manufacturing AI-based digital twin 'MetaFactory' application case ▲Ian Co., Ltd.'s industrial AI and XR-based spatial computing case ▲Tritech's development of a nuclear fusion digital twin platform, etc.
In addition, Daim Research demonstrated physical AI-based logistics robot control technology and DES simulation solutions, while Megazone Cloud demonstrated digital twin applications in industrial settings, including logistics, construction, and yacht simulation. The event also featured hands-on demo booths showcasing Raspberry Pi 5-based robot control and Unity Asset Manager experiences.
