
The Korea Human Resources Development Institute (President Bae Geum-ju, hereinafter referred to as the “Human Resources Development Institute”) announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Chungbuk Health Science University (President Park Yong-seok) on Tuesday, September 23rd to foster foreign nursing assistants and talents in the health and welfare field.
This agreement aims to address the growing demand for health and welfare services amidst the aging population and to foster a stable workforce equipped with expertise and practical skills. A particular focus is on establishing a systematic training foundation for foreign nursing assistants.
Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to cooperate in various fields, including ▲cooperation in research and investigation to foster foreign nursing assistants and talent in the health and welfare field, ▲promotion of joint projects to foster professional manpower, ▲activation of academic and educational exchanges, and ▲joint utilization of educational infrastructure.
This agreement is significant in that it establishes a foundation for the systematic training of health and welfare professionals, including foreign nursing assistants, and for improving the quality of health and welfare services.
Bae Geum-ju, president of the Korea Health and Welfare Human Resources Development Institute, said, “This agreement will contribute to establishing an education system for the stable settlement of foreign nursing assistants and the provision of quality services,” and added, “We expect it to become the foundation for realizing health and welfare services that the public can trust.”
