
The OOP Visual Arts Festival, held in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, will welcome visitors for its fourth edition this September with diverse content and an expanded artist lineup. Hosted by global art company AXOO Corp, the event is supported by a diverse range of organizations and brands, including the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Korea Arts Management Service, Jeju Samdasoo, PUBG Seongsu, Cosociety, and Dazed Korea. This year, the festival will showcase the expanding potential of visual creativity through a variety of visual arts-focused exhibitions, performances, talks, showrooms, and F&B programs.
The 2025 event will feature participation from domestic and international visual artists, including creative studio ULISES, global artist Cha In-cheol, GRAFFLEX, Wang & Söderström, designer Chae Byeong-rok, artist Nammu, and Paperpress. The exhibition will showcase a diverse spectrum of visual art, featuring diverse formats including flag installations, media art, and sculptural works.
Additionally, several teams, including Mickey Kim, Nam Da-hyun, Home Economics Experiment, Atu, Visual Collect, and TVOS, will operate showrooms and engage directly with visitors. DJing, live painting, and food and beverage (F&B) programs, which were popular last year, will return this year.
This festival introduced a lot of new content.
The talk session will feature speakers including writer Song Gil-young, chef Nam Jun-young, Monthly Design editor-in-chief Choi Myeong-hwan, Bizla Magazine's Choi Jang-min and Kwon Hyuk-in, Service Center Director Jeon Su-min, and artist Lee Ji-sun, who will share perspectives from various fields including visual arts, content, food, and media.
The Performance and Parade category will feature teams like Wonhyeong, Confettiard, and Not a Number, as well as a live painting program featuring the International Tufting Association, Jo Dae, Wook Sang, and Na Jam Soo. In the F&B category, Team "FOOD," featuring chefs Jo Gwang-hyo (Manhwanam), Hyun Sang-wook (Gangwi), and Kim Byeong-mook (Yakitori King), will be on hand to showcase a variety of dishes. OOMG will be participating in the technology and media arts, while SCR will be running the music program.
This event will also feature dozens of artists and brands from Korea and abroad. Key exhibitors include artists active in diverse fields, including Chae Byeong-rok, 275C, Noh Sang-ho, XEVA, Inap Square, Rareverse, ULISES, Wang & Söderström, Kim Jin-young, Choi Se-hoon, and Seol Dong-ju.
The showroom category will feature a variety of creative teams, including Kimmiki, Nam Dahyun, Studio Alo, Seoul Sticker Shop, Clumsy Cake, Swimming Green, and York.
This event is hosted by AXOO Corp., a global art and creative group. AXOO operates a diverse range of projects, including art consulting, exhibition planning, and brand collaborations, leveraging its network of approximately 10,000 artists worldwide. Furthermore, AXOO, along with Painters & Ventures and Venture Square Consortium, was selected for the "2025 Arts Startup Leap Support Project – Startup Leap ①," hosted by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Arts Management Service. AXOO is receiving various support programs to foster growth and attract investment.
