Edtech startup Gureum (CEO Ryu Seong-tae) announced on the 23rd that it will participate as a partner organization in 'TECH UP', a digital talent development program operated by kt cloud, and provide its edtech platform and data-based learning management system.
"TECH UP" is a hands-on, digitally-focused training program comprised of nine job courses: full-stack, backend, frontend, product management, product design, cloud native, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity, and generative AI. Combining mentoring from industry experts and an AI-based learning monitoring system, the program aims to cultivate industry-ready talent through approximately seven months of project-based learning.
Through this collaboration, Cloud plans to provide a platform environment that can precisely analyze and support learner growth, contributing to the efficiency of TECH UP education operations and improved learning outcomes.
The selection process utilizes a "3-Track Selection System," including the "Lightning Pass," a self-video interview, and the "Portfolio Battle," a project- and portfolio-based evaluation, to evaluate not only applicants' capabilities but also their growth potential.
Additionally, a special training program, "TECH UP Runcation (Learn+Vacation)," is offered in Jeju for outstanding trainees. This program, which combines learning and relaxation, is offered to trainees selected based on their sincerity and learning engagement.
On September 22nd, KT Cloud held the 'TECH UP WARM UP DAY' launch ceremony at Cloud Square Gangnam and announced the official start of the program with the first batch of trainees and related personnel.
“We are honored to be a partner in the TECH UP program, which aims to foster digital talent,” said Ryu Seong-tae, CEO of GooReum. “We will actively support the program’s successful operation based on GooReum’s technology and educational experience.”
