Willog Signs MOU with Indonesian Cold Chain Association

Willog (CEOs Bae Sung-hoon and Yoon Ji-hyun), an IoT and AI-based supply chain intelligence solution company, announced on the 22nd that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Indonesian Cold Chain Association (ICCA) and will be making a full-scale entry into the Indonesian market.

Through this agreement, Willog will support the modernization of Indonesia's cold chain logistics infrastructure and, leveraging its expertise in "K-Logistics," contribute to the development of Indonesia's National Logistics Ecosystem (NLE). This initiative is also aligned with Indonesia's long-term national development plan, "Golden Indonesia 2045."

Indonesia, a country comprised of approximately 17,000 islands, faces a critical challenge in modernizing its logistics system. The rapid growth of the cold chain industry, in particular, necessitates the development of new technological standards and infrastructure. ICCA and Willog's collaboration is expected to contribute to addressing these challenges by introducing cutting-edge monitoring technology standards optimized for the Indonesian market.

ICCA is an association leading the development of the Indonesian cold chain industry, comprised of cold chain-related companies, government agencies, and academic experts. It is responsible for standardization, technology development, and policy proposals across the entire industrial ecosystem.

Willog utilizes IoT sensor devices and AI-based intelligence solutions to monitor key environmental variables such as temperature, humidity, shock, tilt, and location in real time, providing predictive insights that minimize risks and costs across the entire logistics process. This allows companies to secure logistics visibility and data transparency, strengthening trust and collaboration.

Willog's solutions are being used by major domestic distribution and logistics companies, and its technological prowess and reliability have been recognized by government agencies, most recently through an MOU signed with the Republic of Korea Army. This collaboration is expected to contribute to improving the efficiency and accuracy of Indonesia's logistics system, reducing waste, and maintaining the quality of sensitive products.

Willlog CEO Yoon Ji-hyun said, “This MOU is an important starting point to contribute to the establishment of NLE, Indonesia’s national vision,” and added, “Based on our proven technological prowess, we will establish Indonesia’s cold chain monitoring standards and lead logistics innovation in the ASEAN market as a representative of ‘K-Logistics.’”

“Willog’s advanced cold chain solutions will significantly contribute to the modernization of Indonesia’s logistics market,” said ICCA Chairman Hasanuddin Yasuni. “ICCA will provide relevant expertise and market data, and collaborate with the government and relevant organizations to support the project’s success.”
