The Seoul Women and Family Foundation (CEO Park Jeong-sook) signed an agreement with the Seoul Housing and Urban Development Corporation to provide ‘childbirth and childcare support services for households moving into Mirinaejip.’
The signing ceremony was held in the conference room of the Seoul Housing and Urban Development Corporation, and eight officials from both organizations, including Seoul Women and Family Foundation CEO Park Jeong-sook and SH President Hwang Sang-ha, attended.
Through this agreement, the two organizations will: establish a low birth rate response information system within the Miri Naejip complex; jointly promote childbirth and childcare support education and experiential programs for new households; and collaborate on fostering a work-life balance corporate culture. Specifically, they plan to facilitate easy access to customized policy information tailored to each stage of life and region, and pilot a pop-up store where citizens can experience policy benefits firsthand in their daily lives. The agreement will last for two years, until September 2027, with further details to be determined through mutual agreement.
The Seoul Foundation for Women and Family believes that this agreement is significant in that it integrates pregnancy, childbirth, and childcare services within a residential framework, allowing citizens to directly experience policy support within their own living spaces. Furthermore, the foundation anticipates developing Mirinaejip into a new model of "housing space + policy platform," thereby establishing a foundation for fostering a childbirth- and childcare-friendly environment and enhancing the effectiveness of policies addressing the low birth rate.
SH CEO Hwang Sang-ha said, “This collaboration will serve as an opportunity to establish a customized service system that can be experienced in residential settings.”
Park Jeong-sook, CEO of the Seoul Women's and Family Foundation, said, "Miri Naejip is evolving beyond a simple residential space into a platform that supports all aspects of life. This will be an innovative initiative that will allow citizens to experience childbirth and childcare support in a space close to home."
