Smart Ride Secures TIPS-Linked Seed Investment from Korea University Technology Holdings

Smart Ride (CEO Wooyoung Lee), a transportation industry digital transformation solution company, announced on the 19th that it has secured seed investment in connection with TIPS from Korea University Technology Holdings (CEO Sanghyun Woo).

This investment was made based on a recommendation from the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' technology startup support program, "TIPS." Korea University Technology Holdings decided to invest after highly evaluating the technological prowess and business growth potential of Smart Ride's self-developed integrated transportation management platform.

Smart Ride provides an integrated management platform for commercial transportation markets, including corporate taxis and buses. Key technologies include a DTG (Driving Tag)-based operation management system, a breathalyzer integration solution, and a taxi driver KPI quantification system. It focuses on improving the efficiency of overall transportation operations.

“We are providing solutions that can be immediately applied to the market based on our technological prowess that best understands the transportation industry and data,” said Wooyoung Lee, CEO of Smart Ride. “Using this investment as a stepping stone, we will dedicate all our efforts to being selected as a TIPS and focus on advancing our technology to enter the global market.”
