MegaZone Signs Distributor Agreement with Siemens for Mendix Low-Code

Megazone, the parent company of AI and cloud company Megazone Cloud (CEO Dong-Hoon Yeom), is collaborating with Mendix, a low-code platform division of Siemens, to expand its presence in the domestic low-code market.

On the 18th, Megazone and Siemens held a 'Mendix Distributor Agreement Signing Ceremony' at the conference room of Megazone Cloud Seoul Liaison Office in Yeoksam, Gangnam Posco Tower, with executives from both companies in attendance, including Megazone Vice President of Business Affairs Young-Guk Cho and Siemens Digital Industries Software Korea Branch Manager Byung-Jun Oh.

Through this agreement, Megazone, as Mendix's official domestic distribution partner, will provide market development and customer support, as well as technical support for service implementation and operation, leading the expansion of the domestic low-code market. Siemens plans to strengthen its collaboration with Megazone across various areas, including technical support and joint marketing, to ensure the successful expansion of the domestic low-code market.

Mendix is a low-code development platform that minimizes complex coding tasks and enables rapid application development. It can be used directly by both professional developers and non-developers, lowering the technical barrier to entry and accelerating idea implementation.

Leveraging its extensive partner network and expertise in low-code, MegaZone plans to support domestic companies in enabling agile and efficient development while maintaining enterprise-grade security and governance through the Mendix platform.

The two companies also plan to strengthen Mendix's brand awareness and market influence by strengthening joint marketing activities such as hosting seminars and webinars, discovering success stories, and conducting digital marketing campaigns.

“As the global digital economy expands, companies across various sectors, including manufacturing, financial services, and technology, are constantly looking for ways to innovate faster while efficiently managing complex tasks,” said Byung-Joon Oh, Country Manager of Siemens Digital Industries Software Korea. “The Mendix platform provides the optimal solution to successfully lead companies’ digital transformation strategies by combining visual development, AI support, and enterprise-grade governance.”

Megazone Vice President Young-Guk Cho said, “As Mendix’s domestic distribution partner, we will actively support domestic companies to adopt low-code more quickly and reliably and achieve tangible business results based on our proven technological prowess and extensive partner network.” He added, “We will also contribute to the growth of the domestic low-code ecosystem through comprehensive services such as education and technical support, going beyond simple platform provision.”
