GreenRibbon Corp., a data-driven healthcare and insurtech company, has been officially selected for NVIDIA Inception, a global AI innovation startup discovery and support program.
The NVIDIA Inception program supports startups around the world that are leading industrial innovation using AI and accelerated computing technologies. Selected companies will receive various benefits, including GPU and AI infrastructure support, free SDKs and APIs, developer training and access to technical documentation, and connections to a global venture capital and pharmaceutical company network.
Green Ribbon is an AI-based platform company with the largest amount of real insurance and medical treatment data in Korea. It provides hidden insurance and medical expense refund services through its B2C service 'LifeCatch', and operates AI-based clinical trial subject recruitment and real-world data (RWD) analysis services through its B2B solution 'GreenScout'.
In particular, 'Green Scout' has focused on the structural problem of the industry where failure to recruit clinical trial patients accounts for more than 80% of all clinical trial delays and suspensions, and is providing a solution to increase the success rate of patient recruitment through AI scoring-based subject suitability assessment, precise indicator analysis such as medication compliance and visit cycle, and an algorithm to recommend optimal sites for each hospital.
Green Ribbon CEO Kim Gyu-ri said, “Clinical trials are the most expensive and time-consuming stage in the new drug development process, and global projects are being delayed due to inefficiencies in patient recruitment.” She added, “Green Ribbon is implementing an innovative clinical trial recruiting model that uses AI to predict and recommend suitable patients based on insurance and medical data. The selection of NVIDIA Inception will serve as an opportunity to expand cooperation with global pharmaceutical companies and promote domestic AI healthcare technology on the global stage.”
