Artificial intelligence (AI) solutions company Jimision (CEO Han Jun-seop) announced that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with local companies Professtama International and Yapro Artha Perdana in Jakarta, Indonesia. This agreement was signed at the Korea-Indonesia ICT Business Summit as part of the "SW High Growth Club" overseas expansion support project hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA).
Through the program, which ran from September 1st to 4th, Jimmy Mission strengthened its exchanges with local companies and institutions, and formalized strategic partnerships at the business summit and business matching event held on September 4th.
One of the partners, Professtama International, founded in 1986, is a leading Indonesian integrated security and ICT solutions company. Its expertise lies in building physical security infrastructure, including CCTV, access control, and video surveillance systems. Through this collaboration with Professtama, Gmission plans to integrate its video analytics solution, DEXMA, into its security infrastructure and jointly develop smart security services based on facial and object recognition. Furthermore, the two companies plan to continue their practical collaboration, including joint marketing efforts to secure local security projects, customer development, and pilot projects.
Another partner, Yapro Artha Perdana, is a subsidiary of Indonesia's state-owned airports company Angkasa Pura I (YAKKAP I), and operates a network of airport operations, parking, logistics, travel management, and public services. Gmission will collaborate with Yapro to apply DEXMA to airport and public institution security systems, and explore opportunities to expand this platform into smart airport and smart city projects. Furthermore, the two companies will collaborate to develop joint businesses and establish a long-term partnership.
"This MOU is a significant milestone, securing a key channel in the security and public infrastructure sectors in Indonesia," said Han Jun-seop, CEO of Jimision. "We will continue to enhance our credibility through continued collaboration and achievements with local partners. Building on this foundation, we will expand DEXMA's competitiveness across the Southeast Asian market."
