Seoul Fintech Lab 2 is recruiting new tenants for 2026.

The '2nd Seoul Fintech Lab' announced that it will be recruiting approximately 25 companies for occupancy and membership in 2026 until Friday, October 24th.

The 2nd Seoul Fintech Lab, which opened in Dohwa-dong, Mapo-gu in January 2023, is an institution dedicated to fostering early-stage fintech startups. Through systematic, customized incubation and program management, the lab has supported the market entry of promising technology companies. This announcement aims to identify promising early-stage fintech startups and support their global expansion and growth.

This recruitment is divided into 'resident companies' that support independent office space and 'membership companies' that provide non-reserved hot desk seats. The resident contract is subject to an annual extension evaluation and can be occupied for up to 3 years (up to 2 years for membership companies).

Selected companies will be provided with various early-stage fintech customized programs, including office space support, ▲customized mentoring, ▲capacity building training, ▲support for financial regulatory improvement, ▲support for overseas expansion, ▲promotion of resident companies, and ▲participation in global exhibitions. In addition, direct investment through investment review by the operating company and TIPS (Tech Incubator Program for Startups), a private investment-led technology startup investment program, will be supported.

In particular, to facilitate smooth financing for early-stage fintech companies, we plan to fully support global market development and investment attraction through ▲regular IR DAY ▲demo day held in conjunction with fintech innovation fund managers ▲overseas local demo days ▲participation in the Singapore Fintech Festival, etc.

The application target is a company whose service area is recognized as a fintech industry and accounts for more than 60% of the total. In the case of resident companies, it is a fintech company that has been in business for less than 3 years and has attracted less than 2 billion won in cumulative investment, and in the membership company field, it is a fintech/blockchain company that has been in business for less than 7 years.

The selection process will consist of a first round of written evaluations and a second round of in-person interviews. The final selection will be announced on Friday, November 14th. Applications are scheduled to begin in January of next year. Further details and application forms can be found on the 2nd Seoul Fintech Lab website .

The director of the 2nd Seoul Fintech Lab said, “The 2nd Seoul Fintech Lab is not simply a place to provide office space, but a growth platform that helps startups establish themselves stably and continue with investments and overseas expansion,” adding, “We hope to see many fintech startups with promising innovative financial technologies participate.”
