The '2025 K-Camp Jeju 4th Accelerating Program', conducted by the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation and MY Social Company (MYSC) for innovative startups in the Jeju region, has concluded with results such as attracting 3.1 billion won in investment, generating 2.9 billion won in sales, creating 18 new jobs, and forming 14 business partnerships.
K-Camp Jeju is a program that supports the growth of innovative startups in Jeju, which began in 2022 to revitalize the local startup ecosystem and promote regional and industrial innovation.
For the 4th K-Camp Jeju, eight innovative startups headquartered in Jeju and less than six years old were selected. Starting in April, they participated in various programs to help companies advance their businesses and attract investment, including kickoff workshops, company-specific mentoring, consulting, capacity building training, and demo days.
The 4th batch of selected companies are startups active in Jeju's key industries (clean bio, intelligent tourism services, green energy solutions) including ▲Megaplan (year-round artificial spawning mackerel farming) ▲Live Anywhere (one-month full-option short-term rental service) ▲Salt by Pep (microbiome-based Korean beef food tech) ▲Nearround (integrated membership cafe platform service) ▲Seosaroun (web-based AR content production) ▲Enclient (clean hydrogen energy solution) ▲The Gam (eco-friendly energy solution) ▲Motherworks (kids' lifestyle brand).
As of this year, a total of 34 Jeju innovative startups have been fostered through the K-Camp Jeju program, and participating companies have achieved results such as attracting 18.2 billion won in direct and follow-up investment, increasing sales by 26.8 billion won, creating 87 new jobs, and forming 58 business partnerships.
MYSC Jeju Team Leader Hyun Woo-jeong said, “Through its operation for the past four years, K-Camp Jeju has established itself as a very important program in growing together with Jeju’s innovative companies and creating a better local community.” He added, “Going forward, we will continue to support local companies to leap into the global market and create a virtuous startup ecosystem through discovering Jeju-specific industry theme companies, nurturing talent, and making impact investments based on the stable creation of the Jeju Early Startup Incubation Fund and the Lycon Fund.”
Meanwhile, MYSC, the operator of the K-Camp Jeju program, is a specialized social innovation accelerator, impact investment, and consulting organization, and the operator of TIPS and LIPS. It has been supporting startup incubation and funding in Jeju since 2019.
