CNT Tech and LG Electronics announced that they are recruiting companies to participate in 'STUDIO341 Open Innovation Day,' an open innovation program that works with early-stage startups with innovative technologies.
This program aims to provide promising technology-based startups with opportunities for technology verification, joint commercialization, and market expansion through collaboration with LG Electronics.
The recruitment areas include ▲multimedia solutions (smart TVs and signage), ▲home care solutions (kitchen, home appliances and home IoT), and ▲energy solutions (air care and cooling technology). Participating startups can propose various collaboration ideas that can be linked to LG Electronics' business divisions.
Selected companies will attend an on-site meetup held at the LG Twin Towers in Yeouido, Seoul, on October 14th. They will have one-on-one consultations with LG Electronics representatives and discuss potential collaboration opportunities. If selected as a partner, joint projects will be identified, verified, and commercialized. CNT Tech also plans to consider direct investment and follow-up support for promising startups identified through this program.
The target of support is ▲Campustown Enterprise Growth Center (incubation/graduation companies and university startups), ▲Startups that fall under the Early Startup Package ('22-'25 selected and graduated companies). Detailed information can be found on the K-STARTUP website.
An official said, “STUDIO341 Open Innovation Day is a great opportunity for early-stage startups to collaborate with global corporations,” and added, “We hope that startups with innovative ideas and technologies will create new growth models with LG Electronics.”
