Series Ventures Makes Follow-Up Investment in Workation

Series Ventures (Co-CEOs Park Jun-sang and Kwak Seong-wook) announced on the 16th that it has completed a follow-up investment in premium outdoor equipment and platform startup Workation Co., Ltd. (CEO Oh Min-sik).

Through this investment, Workation plans to expand the development and production of premium tents for camping and backpacking, while also building a tent A/S solution platform that considers user convenience and expanding its outdoor gear and apparel lineup.

Workation is a company that is taking an innovative approach across various fields, including premium brands, disaster tents, and after-sales service platforms, across the entire outdoor industry.

Workation's flagship brand, "LADIT," is a premium tent brand that combines unique color palettes and technological prowess. Its products offer campers a unique blend of sensibility, convenience, and safety. LADIT garnered significant market attention shortly after its launch in November 2023, selling out its flagship product line. It is currently undergoing re-production. Workation plans to expand its product line to meet consumer needs through ongoing material research and design improvements.

In addition, Workation is developing and supplying disaster response tents to local governments, and is expanding its presence in the disaster response field by developing products that combine reasonable prices and functionality.

We are also developing a specialized after-sales service platform to address the inconveniences faced by tent users. Our goal is to provide a structural solution based on repair services to address the after-sales service issues facing the existing outdoor market.

Series Ventures co-CEOs Park Jun-sang and Kwak Seong-wook stated, “Workation is a competitive company in the premium tent sector with products that reflect the customer’s perspective and a differentiated brand strategy,” and added, “Based on a highly specialized team, we expect to secure a premium position in both domestic and overseas markets.”

“Through this investment, we plan to accelerate growth by fully developing and producing tent materials and expanding our platform and production infrastructure,” said Oh Min-sik, CEO of Workation. “We will establish ourselves as a company that contributes to the development of the camping industry and improved consumer convenience.”
