Haejum signs a business agreement with Gientel

Haejum (CEO Kwon Oh-hyun) , a virtual power plant (VPP) specialist, announced on the 16th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with IT service provider Gientel (CEO Lee Maeng-hee) for energy business cooperation. Through this agreement, the two companies plan to secure small-scale distributed power resources and jointly pursue a leading position in the onshore VPP market.

Under this MOU, the two companies will explore collaborative efforts in areas such as ▲building power brokerage infrastructure, ▲supplying renewable energy-based products, ▲improving energy efficiency, and achieving carbon neutrality. Through this, they aim to strengthen their competitiveness in the VPP market and establish a foundation for responding to power control and contributing to power grid stabilization.

Haejum is Korea's first power brokerage, having won awards in power generation forecasting competitions hosted by the Korea Power Exchange and holding AAA-rated patents related to power generation forecasting.
