iPortfolio Leading & Signs Business Agreement with Compassion Korea

iPortfolio Leading & Co., Ltd. (CEO Kim Seong-yoon), an AI edutech English education company, announced on the 16th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Compassion Korea, an international children's organization, to provide AI-based English education content. The signing ceremony took place at Compassion Korea's headquarters in Yongsan-gu, Seoul.

Through this agreement, Reading & plans to support both holistic growth and language learning by providing free English education content based on AI edutech developed by Reading & to children supported by Compassion Korea.

Reading & offers English reading materials based on Christian education, including a reimagining of Charles Dickens's "The Life of Our Lord." The book is organized by sentence difficulty and features an AI learning partner, "Laura," which allows learners to read and interact with the content, deepening their understanding. This allows users of all ages, from toddlers to adults, to learn English independently.

This content will be provided first to approximately 1,700 children participating in the local children's program 'GROWING 252' operated by Compassion Korea.

Compassion Korea is an international NGO that provides financial and emotional support through child sponsorship in 29 countries around the world. Since its establishment in Korea in 2003, it has connected approximately 140,000 children with sponsors.

“We are honored to be partnering with Compassion Korea, which supports the independence of children around the world,” said Kim Seong-yoon, CEO of iPortfolio Leading &. “We hope that AI-based English education content will contribute to children’s learning capabilities and emotional growth.”

Compassion Korea’s Director Woojin Jeong said, “We expect that educational content that incorporates AI technology will help children develop a balanced knowledge and character,” and added, “We hope that Reading &’s content will be of practical help to children’s learning.”
