New media comprehensive content company DSMC (CEO Yongtae Kim) announced on the 15th that it received the Presidential Citation at the '2025 Job Creation Support Government Award' hosted by the Ministry of Employment and Labor.
The "Government Award for Merit in Job Creation Support" is a government award presented by the Ministry of Employment and Labor to individuals and companies that have contributed to job creation and employment advancement. DSMC was selected as the recipient of the Presidential Citation at an awards ceremony held at the Korea Federation of SMEs in Yeouido, Seoul on the 11th.
This award recognizes our achievements in creating sustainable jobs, expanding youth employment, and improving work culture.
DSMC has signed industry-academia cooperation agreements with 13 universities nationwide, including Dongguk University, Kookmin University, Chung-Ang University, Hanyang University, and Gachon University, and has provided young people with practical experience and opportunities to transition to full-time positions through programs such as the 'Seoul-type Youth Internship,' 'KOSAC (Korean Advertising Federation),' 'New Deal Attractive Jobs,' and 'Regional Customized Incentive Support Program.'
As a result, a total of 181 interns were hired from 2022 to 2024, 38% of whom were converted to full-time positions. Notably, in 2024, the company recorded an annual employment growth rate of 61%, demonstrating continued job creation, expansion of youth employment, and improvement of work culture.
In addition, we operate a flexible work system to promote work-life balance for our employees, and we strive to improve employee satisfaction by implementing various welfare systems, such as a monthly cultural support allowance of 50,000 won, a monthly early leave system, and special vacation and vacation allowance support for long-term employees.
DSMC said, “Winning the Presidential Citation is not only a result of the company’s growth, but also an achievement made by all executives and employees together,” and added, “We will continue to take the lead in providing quality jobs to diverse talents, including young people, and in spreading a corporate culture that is good to work in.”
