SOS Lab to Participate in SEMICON Taiwan 2025

LiDAR company SOS Lab announced on the 11th that it will participate in the international semiconductor exhibition 'SEMICON Taiwan 2025' held in Taipei, Taiwan until the 12th.

SEMICON Taiwan is the world's largest semiconductor industry conference, bringing together the global semiconductor supply chain, from semiconductor equipment and materials to memory and foundry (semiconductor contract manufacturing). This year, over 1,200 companies are participating in 4,100 booths, the largest ever.

At this exhibition, SOS Lab will showcase its key products, including the recently completed next-generation 2D LiDAR "GL-5 Series" and the fixed-mount 3D LiDAR "ML Series." The company's LiDAR solutions are being applied not only to logistics robots such as semiconductor wafer transport robots (OHTs), autonomous mobile robots (AMRs), and unmanned guided vehicles (AGVs), but also to various physical AI fields such as humanoid robots and smart factories.

Additionally, SOS Lab is actively exploring global collaboration opportunities to expand its fabless business for Single Photon Avalanche Diode (SPAD) semiconductor chips. SPADs are ultra-sensitive optical sensors that detect single photons and are used in a variety of fields, including autonomous vehicles, logistics robots, drones, mobile 3D scanning, AR/VR devices, medical PET scans, and optical communications.

An SOS Lab official stated, “Many leading global semiconductor companies, including Nvidia, TSMC, and Sony, will be participating in this year’s SEMICON Taiwan,” and “We plan to promote the differentiation of our products and solutions in line with the era of physical AI and expand opportunities for collaboration with global companies.”
