Metainotech (CEO Cho Kwang-mook), a startup developing technology to reduce inter-floor noise in apartment complexes, announced on the 10th that it has been selected for the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund's startup support program, "First Penguin Company." The selection date is August 25, 2025, and the company will receive up to 3 billion won in guarantee support and various growth programs.
The First Penguin Program is a representative startup incubation program of the Korea Credit Guarantee Fund that selects early-stage companies with technological prowess, creativity, and future growth potential, and supports them in securing funding and establishing a stable business foundation.
Metainotech is developing an integrated solution that uses IoT sensors and data analysis technology to measure and reduce inter-floor noise in apartment complexes in real time. The company has already secured performance certifications for its inter-floor noise blocking structure and sensor device technology. This selection will accelerate the advancement and commercialization of this technology, and its entry into the domestic and international housing markets.
In particular, Metainotech is focusing on developing wireless IoT-based inter-floor noise measurement devices, strengthening real-time data analysis and noise source identification capabilities. With warranty support, the company plans to secure R&D investment capacity while focusing on improving product quality and commercialization.
