Mobility concierge platform company Chabot Mobility (CEO Kang Sung-geun) announced on the 10th that it has laid the foundation for entering the Mongolian mobility market by participating in the '2025 TS Mongolia Voyager Companion Project' of the Korea Transportation Safety Authority.
This project, which was carried out in Mongolia for four days starting September 6, was a one-stop overseas export support project selected as a project for the Ministry of SMEs and Startups' '2025 First Large and Small Business Joint Entry Support Project'. Chabot Mobility participated as one of 13 excellent domestic venture and small business enterprises, showcasing the competitiveness of K-mobility locally.
In this project, Chabot Mobility unveiled an integrated export model encompassing the entire vehicle lifecycle, including EV minitrucks, automatic car wash systems, used car certification solutions, and a digital vehicle inspection SaaS, and presented a plan to build a customized mobility infrastructure for the local market. The company's goal, a localized industrial model that extends beyond short-term product supply to encompass EV assembly, maintenance, inspection, and certification, has attracted significant attention from local governments and buyers.
The foundation for this model lies in its competitive edge as a platform-based, complete auto-commerce platform. The company already operates Chabot, a B2C vehicle management app used by over 720,000 people in Korea, and a network of over 1,000 maintenance and dealerships. Through this, it has established a system capable of integrating EV supply, infrastructure, and digital operations. Building on these capabilities, Chabot Mobility has presented a practical solution for the Mongolian market.
The "K-Mobility Meetup Day" held during the project period also yielded concrete results. An official from the Mongolian Transportation Safety Authority expressed strong interest, stating, "This is an integrated solution that can simultaneously address Mongolia's current traffic safety and environmental improvement challenges." Furthermore, local logistics companies expressed interest in the EV minitruck, noting its adaptability to low-temperature environments and economic feasibility. Car wash operators also expressed their willingness to actively consider adopting it, praising its ability to ensure winter service stability through automated equipment.
Meanwhile, Chabot Mobility already signed an agreement with local Mongolian company Autoland last year to develop a K-used car export business. The Voyager project expands this existing business to include EVs and vehicle management infrastructure. The company plans to develop a phased expansion strategy based on a collaborative system with the Mongolian government and local companies.
Chabot Mobility CEO Kang Sung-geun said, "The Mongolia Voyager project is significant in that it marks the first time Chabot has demonstrated a platform-based industrial model in a local setting, going beyond simple product exports. Mongolia boasts a rapidly growing automobile market with significant room for institutional and infrastructure improvements, making it a region where Chabot's data and platform capabilities can be most effectively utilized." He added, "Based on this experience, we will continue to demonstrate Chabot's competitiveness and expand our reach not only in Mongolia but also in global markets such as Japan and the United States."
