Chungnam Content Promotion Agency Signs MOU with Game Science Research Institute

The Chungnam Content Promotion Agency (Director Kim Gok-mi) announced on the 8th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Game Science Research Institute (Director Kim Gyeong-il) on September 5th at the Chungnam Content Promotion Agency headquarters to discover and develop data-based e-sports talent.

This agreement aims to build practical data to identify and systematically develop promising esports talent based on individual aptitude and capabilities, going beyond outcome-oriented indicators like match performance.

Through this agreement, the two organizations plan to promote joint programs related to ▲ aptitude measurement and psychological capacity enhancement training for e-sports players and aspiring players in the Chungnam region, ▲ player data measurement and database (DB) construction, etc.

The "Game Aptitude Assessment Tool," developed by the Game Science Research Institute, is used to measure aptitude. This tool comprehensively analyzes the cognitive, physical, and psychological capabilities required for game performance, and its objectivity and validity have been confirmed through four years of research and validation.

Chungnam Content Promotion Agency Director Kim Gok-mi said, “This agreement is significant in establishing a differentiated talent discovery and development system centered around the Chungnam e-sports permanent stadium,” and added, “We will continue to work to establish Chungnam as a hub for the e-sports industry through data-driven strategies.”
