Job Korea Signs MOU with Korea Future Population Research Institute

Job platform Job Korea (CEO Hyun-Jun Yoon) announced on the 8th that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Future Population Research Institute (Director In-Sil Lee) to respond to changes in population structure such as low birth rates and aging population.

The signing ceremony took place on the 4th at Job Korea's headquarters in Seocho-gu, Seoul, and was attended by officials from both organizations, including Job Korea CEO Hyun-Jun Yoon and Korea Peninsula Future Population Research Institute Director In-Sil Lee.

This agreement was established to strengthen work-life balance in response to changing demographics, foster a sustainable employment ecosystem, and promote corporate social responsibility and social value creation.

Through this agreement, the two parties plan to pursue cooperative projects such as ▲ joint surveys and report publication related to population, employment, and businesses ▲ joint research and additional data collection using Job Korea platform data ▲ planning and promotion of non-profit population-related projects ▲ launching awareness improvement campaigns for job seekers and human resources managers.

In addition, Job Korea and the Korea Future Population Research Institute plan to jointly participate in policy seminars, forums, and campaigns to disseminate research results and policy suggestions to society at large.

Yoon Hyun-jun, CEO of Job Korea, said, “This agreement reflects the employment platform company’s commitment to playing a proactive role in addressing the nation’s population challenges,” adding, “We will contribute to realizing social value based on our data and technological capabilities.”

Lee In-sil, director of the Korea Future Population Research Institute, said, “Through collaboration with Job Korea, we will strive to ensure that the research findings can be applied to actual employment situations,” and added, “We will work together to find practical solutions to respond to changes in population structure.”
