Davida Signs Exclusive Supply Agreement with Brazilian Manufacturer for AI Learning Solution "Genie Teacher"

Edtech startup Davida Co., Ltd. (CEO Eunseung Lee) announced on the 4th that it has signed an exclusive supply contract for the artificial intelligence (AI)-based learning solution 'GENITEACHER' with Brazilian education solution company MKR in Brazil.

This contract was signed after MKR learned of Genie Teacher's technological prowess through Davida's English content, visited Korea, and personally witnessed a demonstration at the company's headquarters. This highly evaluated the potential for introducing the solution to the local Brazilian education market.

Genie Teacher is a self-directed learning support solution that digitizes students' notes, analyzes them with AI, and provides real-time learning feedback and problem-solving hints. In addition to its dedicated note-taking tool, the Genie Pen, it can be accessed in a variety of environments using tablets, smartphone cameras, and other devices. Its multilingual support, including Portuguese, ensures its universal appeal in the global education market. In educational settings, teachers can use learning data to tailor lessons to each student.

Starting with its entry into Brazil, Davida plans to sequentially launch Genie Teacher in Cambodia, Spain, Saudi Arabia, and other countries this year, and expand to more than 10 countries, including the United States, Egypt, and Kuwait, next year, to accelerate its global market conquest.

MKR, which signed the contract, is a company that provides solutions to various educational fields in Brazil, including public education, private education, vocational education, and corporate training. Through this partnership, it plans to distribute Genie Teacher throughout Brazil and promote the establishment of a digital-based learning environment.

“Brazil is a large market with high demand for education, making it a strategic base for Genie Teacher’s global expansion,” said Eunseung Lee, CEO of Davida. “Through our collaboration with MKR, we will seek to expand throughout South America and contribute to eliminating the global education gap through our hybrid education solution.”
