Movetum Gangneung and Seamark Hotel Sign MOU for Craft Experience Program

Movetum (CEO Joo Seon-yeong) signed a business agreement with Gangneung Seamark Hotel to operate a craft experience program.

Under this agreement, Seamark Hotel will pilot a one-day craft class for guests for two months, from August 1st to September 30th. A variety of programs, including making Gangneung beach accessories and seashell canvases, will be offered. Depending on the success of the pilot program, the company plans to consider expanding the craft program.

Movetum is a platform that supports artist branding and sales channels. Based in Seoul, this youth entrepreneurship team collaborates with local artisans in Gangneung to build a model for revitalizing local culture and arts. Partnering with eight artisans, Movetum provides services such as brand concept development, storytelling, social media content strategy, photography, and interviews. After branding, the team connects these artists with hotels, cafes, and businesses, creating tangible revenue-generating opportunities.

Movetum and Seamark Hotel stated, “Based on the results of the two-month pilot operation, we plan to consider expanding the program,” and “We will continue to improve the service by reflecting feedback from participating artisans and users.”

Movetum continued, "We anticipate that more companies and organizations will become interested in cultural content in the future. We will continue to grow as a platform that helps artists generate stable income through their talents."
