Inhand Plus Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Hwi-won) announced on the 4th that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with the Bapsang Community Social Welfare Center (Director Ha Tae-hwa) and will promote a medication and diet management project for the elderly in the Wonju area of Gangwon-do.
This agreement aims to address medication adherence issues among seniors and establish an efficient social welfare management system by leveraging the AI smartwatch developed by Inhand Plus. The AI smartwatch automatically analyzes the user's medication and eating habits, and simply by wearing it, medication times and food intake are recorded in data without any additional intervention. This data is shared in real time with welfare centers, supporting remote health management of seniors.
The medication and dietary data collected through this project will be automatically generated into case management reports, reducing the workload of social workers and enabling more efficient social welfare services. Furthermore, a reward system based on medication data has been introduced, increasing participation and satisfaction among participants.
Inhand Plus CEO Lee Hwi-won said, “This project will contribute to the stable and healthy daily lives of local seniors,” and added, “We plan to expand the project nationwide in the future based on cooperation with the Bapsang Community Welfare Center.”
“This collaboration has enabled a data-driven, systematic approach to medication management and health management,” said Ha Tae-hwa, director of the Bapsang Community Welfare Center. “As demand for social welfare increases in an aging society, we plan to further expand the use of digital solutions.”
