Roboligent, a US startup with AI and soft manipulator technology, announced on the 4th that it has signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MOU) with robot parts specialist AdinRobotics to strengthen its competitiveness in the global market.
Through this agreement, the two companies will collaborate in a variety of areas, including product development and business collaboration, joint component supply and solution development, and joint expansion into global markets. Beyond short-term collaboration, the two companies plan to expand their presence in the global robotics market through joint marketing and cross-sales activities in the mid- to long-term.
Roboligent is developing semi-humanoid robots based on soft manipulator technology and is actively conducting proof-of-concept (PoC) projects with domestic and international companies. Adin Robotics is developing core robot components, including force/torque sensors, using its own technology and is gradually expanding its business into the collaborative robot and humanoid robot component markets.
Through this agreement, the two companies plan to share their respective technologies and infrastructure to strengthen their global customer service capabilities and maximize synergy between components and solutions. This strategy aims to create new business opportunities and further enhance their competitiveness in the global robotics industry.
An Aiden Robotics representative stated, "This collaboration will serve as the foundation for a global collaborative model that will enable the integrated growth of components and solutions." A Roboligent representative added, "We expect Aiden Robotics' precision sensor technology to enhance the performance of our robots and enable advanced tasks."
