ZETIC.ai, an on-device AI transformation platform company, announced on the 2nd that it was finally selected for 'Startup Battlefield 200', the flagship program of the global startup conference 'TechCrunch Disrupt 2025'.
Startup Battlefield 200 is a pitching competition program that selects and brings to the stage global early-stage startups with proven technological prowess and growth potential. It will be held as a key event at TechCrunch Disrupt, held in San Francisco from October 27th to 29th. The program has produced over 1,500 global startups, including Dropbox, Trello, and Discord, and participating companies have collectively raised over $32 billion (approximately 43 trillion won) in investment. The winning team will receive a $100,000 prize with no equity requirement and access to global investors and media.
ZETIC.ai was recognized for its technological prowess in this selection, centered around its on-device AI conversion platform, "ZETIC.ai." This platform addresses GPU usage costs and NPU (Neural Processing Unit) compatibility issues that arise when operating cloud-based AI services. When a user uploads an AI model, it is automatically converted into an optimized on-device library, enabling immediate deployment across various operating systems, including Android, iOS, and Linux, as well as major global chipsets from Qualcomm, MediaTek, and Apple. This eliminates server costs and significantly reduces deployment times, delivering up to 60 times the processing performance of GPUs. Furthermore, its versatility, enabling support for a wide range of hardware with just two lines of code, is recognized as a strength.
"This Battlefield selection is a testament to the global competitiveness of our on-device AI technology," said Kim Yeon-seok, CEO of Zetic AI. "We will lead the new infrastructure paradigm of GPU-serverless AI." He added, "We plan to continue developing and expanding our technology so that more developers and businesses can use efficient and secure AI technology."
