Content AI solution company 4BY4 (CEO Jun-ho Yoon) will participate in a panel session on 8K picture quality improvement at CEDIA Expo 2025, a global video and home appliance exhibition held in Denver, Colorado, USA from September 4th to 6th.
At this event, Fourbyfour was invited to a panel session hosted by the 8K Association as a representative company in the field of image quality improvement. The session, held at the 8K Pavilion booth (4501) within the exhibition hall on September 5 (local time), will discuss technological and ecosystem development plans to expand 8K content across various genres, including games, documentaries, and sports.
ForbyFor possesses the technology to naturally enhance HD or 4K content to 8K quality through its proprietary deep learning-based image quality improvement AI solution, "PIXELL." This solution not only improves image quality but also reduces bitrate (transmission data volume) by over 50%, contributing to solving cost and efficiency issues associated with high-capacity content transmission.
In this session, Bae Seong-wan, Head of the Solutions Business Division at PobyPo, will present plans to expand 8K content adoption by leveraging AI image quality enhancement technology. He will present specific application cases where Pixel Solutions can not only upscale existing low-resolution content but also improve the efficiency of 8K content streaming and transmission.
As the only domestic content solutions company to join the 8K Association, ForbyFor is actively participating in the development of a global 8K ecosystem based on its technology. Currently, global companies such as Samsung Electronics, Google, Panasonic, IMAX, and TCL are active members of the association.
