
EMS Co., Ltd. (CEO Han-Chan Lee) announced on the 1st that it had received the Korea Institute for Advancement of Technology (KIAT) President's Award at the 'Nano Korea 2025' exhibition. This award is a result of high recognition of the innovativeness and industrial applicability of EMS's new materials technology, and is considered an example of official recognition of its technological competitiveness within the advanced materials industry.
EMS possesses precision materials technologies, including new alloys, high-purity metal powders, and high-functionality coatings. These technologies are applied to a wide range of industries, including electrical and electronic components, industrial facilities, and eco-friendly energy equipment. In particular, the improved precision of the high-purity metal powder manufacturing process and the enhanced durability of the coating technology were cited as key factors in achieving excellent results in this evaluation.
The company stated that this award recognizes both the commercialization potential and marketability of its technology. Building on this recognition, the company plans to expand collaboration with domestic and international industrial partners and accelerate the development of high-value-added materials and sustainable technological innovation.
