Global security solutions company Securitas Korea (CEO Kim Jun-young) announced on the 29th that it will participate in the 'K-Hospital Fair 2025' hosted by the Korean Hospital Association, held at COEX in Seoul from September 17th to 19th, and showcase its cutting-edge smart healthcare security solutions.
Securitas Korea is the Korean subsidiary of the Swedish-based global Securitas Group, with approximately 350,000 professionals operating in 45 countries worldwide. Drawing on its experience in medical institution security operations, the company is contributing to the creation of a smart hospital environment.
Notably, Securitas expanded its healthcare and security portfolio with the acquisition of Stanley Healthcare and Stanley Security from Stanley Black & Decker in 2022. Securitas Healthcare currently provides integrated solutions that transform safety, security, and operational efficiency for healthcare organizations worldwide, and is expanding its global footprint in acute care hospitals and long-term care facilities.
Major domestic medical institutions, including Kangwon National University Hospital, Wonkwang University Hospital, Korea University Guro Hospital, Seoul National University Bundang Hospital, and Dongguk University Medical Center (Ilsan), are scheduled to participate in this exhibition. Securitas Healthcare expects that officials from these hospitals will visit the exhibition booth, experience smart security solutions, and discuss ways to apply them to their hospital operations.
Securitas Healthcare offers a customized smart security model for hospitals, utilizing intelligent video security, real-time remote monitoring, and crisis response consulting. This approach aims to deliver innovative benefits across all aspects of hospital operations, including protecting patient information, enhancing medical staff and facility safety, and enhancing emergency response capabilities.
In particular, this K-Hospital Fair will also demonstrate the government's emphasis on securing AI reliability and innovating digital security, including blocking potential threats through AI-based access and control data analysis and minimizing security blind spots in the medical environment.
Securitas Healthcare provides solutions to over 5,000 acute care hospitals and 12,000 long-term care facilities worldwide, boasting a proven track record in safety, security, environmental monitoring, and asset management. Its flagship solution, the Arial Emergency & Nurse Call system, features fall detection, wandering prevention, and patient location tracking, contributing to enhanced patient safety and efficient medical response.
A Securitas Korea representative stated, “K-Hospital Fair is an important event where the medical and security industries can work together to seek innovation,” and added, “As a global leader, Securitas will continue to work together to strengthen Korean medical innovation and safety.”
