BFG Partners Signs Lithium-ion Battery Supply Agreement with Slovakia's KL PRO SK

BFG Partners (CEO Ki-Woong Kang), a strategic subsidiary of iToxi, announced on the 29th that it has signed a contract to supply lithium-ion batteries worth approximately 3.09 million cells and 10.1 billion won per year with KL PRO SK, a Slovakian industrial equipment distributor.

The first batch of 340,000 cells (approximately 1.1 billion won) under this contract is scheduled to be urgently transported by air cargo within the year after production is completed, and subsequent batches will be delivered regularly by sea starting in January 2026.

BFG Partners is a subsidiary established by ITOXI in April of this year to invest in the BFG plate glass plant in Ukraine and export building materials to Eastern Europe. Through this contract, ITOXI is expanding its business area into the energy solutions sector and accelerating its conquest of the Eastern European market.

Aitoxi exported a small quantity of lithium-ion batteries to Poland last year, and its expansion into Slovakia is seen as a tangible achievement in expanding exports to Eastern Europe. KL PRO SK, with its extensive supply chain in Slovakia and Eastern Europe, is expected to serve as a bridgehead for supplying Korean batteries to key local industries and battery pack manufacturers.

Building on this agreement, iToxi is also pursuing a joint sales of solar-based energy storage systems (ESS) with FAST LEAD, a leading Ukrainian battery distributor. This strategic move is expected to secure stable profits in the mid- to long-term, in anticipation of growing demand in the Eastern European private energy market.

An official from iToxi said, “In line with the growth of the secondary battery and ESS market in Eastern Europe, this contract is an important turning point in the expansion of our reconstruction project in Ukraine,” and added, “Starting with Slovakia, we plan to expand our business in various fields such as ESS, electric vehicle charging infrastructure, and secondary battery pack assembly plants.”
