GP Signs MOU with Korea Childcare Promotion Institute and Korea Federation of Daycare Centers

GP Co., Ltd., a medical artificial intelligence (AI) company, announced on the 29th that it signed a technology support agreement with the Korea Childcare Promotion Institute and the Korea Association of Daycare Centers to establish a growth prediction and management system for infants and toddlers.

This agreement aims to utilize AI-based biometric big data to detect signs of growth abnormalities early and establish a digital growth management system based on scientific data. The three organizations plan to collaborate in areas such as: ▲ field application of AI-based big data-based growth and disease prediction systems; and ▲ establishment of growth management and disease prevention systems for infants and toddlers.

Through this agreement, GP will conduct a pilot project utilizing its AI growth prediction system at approximately 170 daycare centers in 17 metropolitan and provincial governments nationwide this year. Starting in 2026, the project will be gradually expanded to approximately 27,000 daycare centers nationwide.

This project is being evaluated as timely as it introduces a prevention-focused growth management paradigm utilizing AI technology and is in line with the government's policy direction to address the low birth rate. The project is being evaluated as timely as demand for customized care for infant and toddler development is increasing.

GP has developed an AI growth prediction model based on data from a global pediatric and adolescent growth cohort of approximately 140,000 individuals and holds 59 related patents. Furthermore, the objectivity of the technology has been proven through five SCI-level papers, and the technology has been designated as an innovative product by the Public Procurement Service.

Recently, GP has developed 'GP Solution KmapDR', which can analyze bone age within 5 minutes through body composition analysis without radiation exposure, and has obtained digital medical device manufacturing certification from the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety and is actively entering the medical market.

Seong Je-hyeok, CEO of GP, said, “This agreement is the first step in applying our technology to childcare settings,” and added, “Starting in 2026, we plan to build a systematic growth management infrastructure for daycare centers nationwide and, based on this, expand into the global market.”
