Peter Peter Signs MOU with Korea Cat Lovers Association

Pet tech startup Pitter Petter announced on the 28th that it has signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Cat Lovers Association (KOCF) to provide genetic testing services for companion cats.

This agreement was established to establish a science-based pet cat health management system in response to the growing domestic pet cat market. Peterpeter will initially offer its cat genetic testing service, "CATERING," to members of the Korea Cat Lovers Association. Based on the test results, Peterpeter will also provide customized health management guidance.

Through this agreement, the two parties plan to cooperate in ▲providing customized genetic testing, including genetic disease risk analysis and genetic trait confirmation ▲jointly operating education and seminars for members ▲establishing domestic companion cat health data.

The Korea Cat Association is the official domestic partner of TICA (The International Cat Association), the world's largest cat registry. It is a leading cat organization engaged in a wide range of cat-related activities, including issuing cat pedigrees and hosting cat shows. This agreement is expected to provide members with more convenient access to genetic testing services and strengthen a scientific approach to breeding and health management.

Peter Peter CEO Park Jun-ho said, “Through this agreement, we will contribute to enabling more companion cats to identify disease risks in advance through genetic testing and maintain healthy lives.”

Shin Woo-chan, Chairman of the Korea Cat Lovers Association, said, “Through Peter Peter’s professional services, members will be able to more accurately understand the genetic characteristics of their companion cats and utilize them for responsible breeding and health management.”
