
Document AI specialist Romin (CEO Ji-Hong Kang) announced on the 27th that it signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with IT service company Kolon Benit and officially joined the 'Kolon Benit AI Alliance'.
This agreement aims to jointly promote the expansion of document-based AI solutions by combining the technologies and infrastructure of both companies, amidst the growing demand for the use of unstructured document data across industries due to the spread of generative AI.
Romin specializes in transforming unstructured document data into structured AI learning data. Its document AI platform, Textscope®, includes proprietary VLM-based AI OCR, a high-performance document parser, and a document-specific RAG platform. This technology is utilized in fields with high document processing complexity, such as finance and the public sector.
Through this agreement, Romin has established a foundation for expanding TextScope's supply channels, leveraging Kolon Benit's 30 years of IT distribution experience and network of over 1,000 customers. Kolon Benit plans to support the commercialization of Romin's solutions, leveraging its experience in implementation across diverse industries.
Following this agreement, the two companies plan to gradually expand the scope of their cooperation, including joint marketing, and continue strategic collaboration to expand the industrial application of document AI technology.
