SOS Lab announced on the 27th that it is participating in the 'ITS World Congress 2025 (hereinafter referred to as ITS 2025),' the world's largest Intelligent Transport System (ITS) exhibition, held in Atlanta, Georgia, USA until the 28th.
The ITS World Congress is a global event focused on smart mobility and transportation digitalization. It serves as an annual conference and trade fair promoting ITS technologies from around the world. Thousands of ITS experts from around the world gather to share the latest technologies and practical applications related to future transportation innovations, including autonomous driving, AI-based infrastructure management, and smart city solutions. It attracts significant attention each year as a venue for global audiences to experience firsthand demonstrations of innovative new products and technologies.
The ITS World Congress travels around the world each year, and this year's event was held in Atlanta. Atlanta, known as a "smart mobility testing ground," is actively attracting transportation network improvements and technology demonstration projects. Hundreds of companies and organizations from 53 countries will participate in this exhibition, showcasing the latest technologies, equipment, systems, and software.
At this event, SOS Lab is focusing on promoting its main products such as the next-generation fixed 3D lidar 'ML-A' and 'ML-U' developed in-house, as well as the 'Lidar-based Parking Guidance System (LPGS)' and 'Lidar-based Crowding Analysis System (LCAS)' applied to domestic airports.
An SOS Lab official said, “The ITS World Congress is a place where we can look at the latest global trends in our core businesses, such as autonomous driving and smart cities,” adding, “With participants from around the world, it is an important opportunity to create networks not only with companies but also with government agencies.”
He continued, “Especially since this year’s event is being held in the United States, we expect it to serve as an important cornerstone for entering the North American market, including expanding partnerships with local infrastructure companies and participating in global transportation projects.” He added, “Furthermore, since next year’s World Congress will be held in Gangneung, Korea, we will be able to acquire event operation know-how through this experience and contribute to the successful hosting of the event next year.”
