
MegaZone Cloud (CEO Dong-Hoon Yeom), an AI and cloud specialized company, announced that it held the 'CxO Circle: AI in Action' event at Park Hyatt Busan on August 26 for executives of major manufacturing and financial companies in the Busan and Gyeongnam region.
This event was part of MegaZone Cloud's annual "Chief Collaboration Circle (CCC)" program for C-level executives at domestic companies. It was designed to expand collaboration with local companies and share strategies and best practices related to AI transformation. Approximately 60 people, including those from the manufacturing and financial industries, attended the event.
The Busan-Gyeongnam region is a region where demand for AI technology adoption is increasing based on an industrial structure centered on manufacturing, finance, and logistics. The event on that day consisted of various topics, including ▲AI application strategies in the manufacturing industry ▲Directions for AI utilization in the financial sector ▲Cases of AI-based robot adoption ▲Security threat response strategies by industry.
MegaZone Cloud's Chief AI Officer (CAIO) Seongbae Kong said in his presentation on the "AI Transformation Strategy for the Manufacturing Industry," "AI application requires clear business objectives and a strategic approach," and "We will support companies' internalization of AI based on proven cases and partnerships."
Next, EY Consulting Director Wonhee Lee introduced the direction of AI utilization and application cases in the financial industry, saying, “AI is moving beyond the technology verification stage and establishing itself as a means of realizing business value.”
In addition, PTC Korea, Cato Networks, and MegaZone Cloud HALO Unit presented AI, security, and manufacturing solutions, sharing their technology applicability and strategies for each industry.
Event participants praised the opportunity to see concrete examples and directions for how AI technology can be utilized in real-world industrial settings. Formation Labs CEO Han Chang-geun stated, "We were able to see how AI can be applied to improve production efficiency in manufacturing settings." TKG Taekwang Director Cho Dong-geun stated, "It was a valuable opportunity to discuss the potential for manufacturing innovation based on generative AI and physical AI."
Meanwhile, MegaZone Cloud, with its approximately 2,000 technical staff, supports the digital transformation of over 7,000 domestic and international clients.
