Dancestruct (Co-CEOs Hye-rin Yoon and Se-gi Oh) , a content technology company based on 3D choreography data, announced that it has signed a strategic business agreement (MOU) with ShopFanpic , a virtual content platform operator, to enhance virtual YouTuber (VTuber) content.
This agreement aims to combine Dancestruct's 3D choreography data technology and copyright management system with ShopFanpic's virtual IP production and distribution capabilities to jointly produce competitive virtual content and distribute it to the global market.
According to the agreement, Dancestruct will provide high-quality 3D motion data to ShopFanpic and provide a copyright protection and management system for choreography data. ShopFanpic will use the data to create content utilizing its virtual characters, and the completed choreography content will be distributed through the choreography data platform 'XSTAGE' operated by Dancestruct. The two parties will introduce a structure in which they will jointly operate the business and distribute the profits from the content.
Shopfanpic started out as a goods-centered platform, and has recently expanded its business into various fields such as virtual YouTubers, OTT content, and games. Through this collaboration, it has established a foundation for the production and distribution of new virtual IP-based choreography content.
Dancestruct Co-CEO Hye-rin Yoon said, “This collaboration will be an opportunity to expand the scope of Xtage’s utilization into the virtual content area,” and added, “We plan to continue our partnership based on the shared goals of both parties: protecting creators’ rights and establishing a global distribution system.”
