
TMR Founders, Inc., operator of "TagHere," a restaurant ordering and payment solution, announced on the 22nd that it has signed an advertising partnership with Cheogatjip Yangnyeom Chicken, a leading domestic chicken franchise. This collaboration is expected to serve as an opportunity for TagHere to expand beyond simple ordering and payment functions into a brand marketing and advertising platform.
Since its launch in October 2023, TagHere has continued to grow, reaching annual transaction volume of KRW 140 billion and cumulative views of 13 million in just over a year and a half. This partnership establishes a foundation for collaboration with nationwide franchises and establishes a new business model that connects in-store order and payment data to actual sales for partner brands.
A direct impact is also expected for franchisees. The operator explains that promotions such as discount coupons offered exclusively to TagHere affiliated stores can lead to new customer acquisition and increased sales.
Kim Young-ho, CEO of TMR Founders, said, “The advertising partnership with Cheogatjip Yangnyeom Chicken is the first time TagHere has collaborated with a major franchise brand, and it shows the potential for expansion as a brand advertising platform.” He added, “Going forward, we will attract brand advertisements from various industries, such as chicken, pizza, coffee, and convenience stores, to create a structure in which both users and franchisees can benefit.”
