IT security and authentication platform company Laonsecure (CEO Lee Soon-hyung and Lee Jeong-ah) announced on the 21st that 'Communication 3.0: Blockchain-based Participatory Community Platform', which is being jointly developed with blockchain technology company Zcrypto (CEO Oh Hyeon-ok), was selected for the '2025 Blockchain Private Sector Expansion Project' hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA).
Through this project, the two companies plan to develop a platform that combines blockchain, decentralized identity (DID), and zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) technologies to enhance the reliability and data integrity of public opinion polls and community services. Laonsecure will apply its blockchain and OmniOne Enterprise platform technologies to the Communication 3.0 platform.
The "Communication 3.0 Platform" is designed to address the potential for falsification and alteration of centralized data systems and the risk of personal information leakage. A pilot program will be conducted targeting relevant organizations and participating institutions.
Users can verify their eligibility to vote and participate in polls without submitting personal information based on their mobile ID. Response results are anonymized and recorded on a blockchain that cannot be tampered with. This is expected to increase the reliability of polls and online community services and encourage increased use.
RaonSecure and Zcrypto plan to expand their business to various institutions, including universities and private companies, and continue to enhance their platform by incorporating AI technology. They also plan to collaborate with overseas institutions and international organizations to secure global competitiveness.
Raon Secure's 'OmniOne Enterprise' is a digital ID platform applied to national mobile resident registration cards, mobile driver's licenses, etc., and supports data forgery prevention and selective information provision functions by utilizing FIDO biometric authentication, distributed server structure, and blockchain consensus algorithm.
Lee Jeong-ah, CEO of Laonsecure, said, “We will contribute to the expansion of trust-centered online opinion polls and community services through the development of a blockchain-based integrated participation platform,” and added, “Based on proven blockchain and DID technologies, we will continue to develop services closely related to daily life and expand our business.”
