Entels , a company specializing in AI convergence solutions, announced on the 20th that it has received certification as an "AI Factory Specialist" from the Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Planning and Evaluation, an agency under the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy. This certification, granted based on a comprehensive evaluation of AI technology and performance in the manufacturing industry, officially recognizes Entels' expertise in the manufacturing AI field.
The "AI Factory Specialist" certification is a follow-up to the "AI Autonomous Manufacturing Alliance," launched in 2024, and was introduced as part of the expanded and reorganized "AI Factory Alliance" in 2025. Companies eligible for certification are evaluated based on factors such as their manufacturing AI project execution capabilities, data utilization strategies, and potential participation in AI foundation model development.
Entels has implemented AI analytics projects across diverse manufacturing sectors, including die casting, batteries, and rotary motors. It supports the digital transformation of manufacturing sites by applying technologies like predictive maintenance and process optimization based on field data. Specifically, it offers practical solutions for improving productivity and quality through an integrated AI platform encompassing everything from data collection and analysis to MLOps (Machine Learning Operations Automation).
An Entels representative stated, “This certification is the result of a comprehensive evaluation of our understanding of AI technology and the manufacturing industry,” and added, “We will continue to contribute to the digital advancement of the manufacturing industry based on convergence technologies such as AI, cloud, and IoT.”
