
Snowflake, a global AI data cloud company, will hold its global event, ‘Snowflake World Tour 2025 Seoul,’ at the COEX Convention Center in Samseong-dong, Seoul on September 9.
Under the theme "A Step Toward the Future of Data and AI," this event will share the latest technologies and success stories of industrial and business innovation leveraging data and AI. A diverse range of domestic and international clients and partners, including Mirae Asset Global Investments, Vroom, Samsung Electronics, Pulmuone, Pursys, Catch Table, and MBC, will participate and present their Snowflake adoption results and insights into AI data utilization.
In the morning keynote, Snowflake SVP of Products Christian Kleinermann, Snowflake Korea Country Manager Choi Ki-young, and Tech Evangelist Lee Su-hyeon will introduce the latest innovations in AI data cloud technologies and explain their impact on corporate data and AI strategies. This will be followed by case presentations from Mirae Asset Global Investments and Vroom.
In the afternoon, customers from various industries, including Kakao Games, Nexon, Nepes, AB180, and Pulse AD, will share technology cases utilizing AI data cloud in four tracks: data platform, AI/ML, data engineering, and data apps and collaboration.
Alongside this, exhibition and experiential booths will be operated by key partners, including Amazon Web Services, Megazone Cloud, Bespin Global, Microsoft, and Salesforce. At the "Marketing Village," Dennis Person, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) of Lotte Shopping and Snowflake, will present a special session on marketing strategies in the AI era.
At the "Startup Village," promising startups like Coupang, Upstage, Answers Lab Korea, and Datarise will present AI-driven data-centric success stories and technology strategies. At the "Community Village," data communities like PostgreSQL, Streamlit, dbt labs, Langchain, and Airflow will participate, presenting a variety of programs including mini-sessions, hackathon presentations, and panel discussions.
Snowflake Korea CEO Kiyoung Choi said, “Snowflake World Tour is an important event for expanding AI business strategies, experiencing the latest technologies, and interacting with industry experts.” He added, “As data is the core driving force of all industries, we will continue to advance our AI data cloud services to help various industries secure competitiveness.”
