Gint, Foresight, and Connect Sign Agreement for Joint Development of Autonomous Driving Modules for Agricultural Machinery

Gint (CEO Yong-Hyeon Kim), a company promoting digital transformation in the agricultural sector, has signed a three-party Joint Development Agreement (JDA) with Foresight Autonomous Holdings Ltd. (Nasdaq-listed), an Israeli 3D recognition technology company, and Konek, a domestic auto parts manufacturer.

This agreement aims to enhance the functionality of Pluva Auto, an autonomous driving module for agricultural machinery developed by Gint, and to establish a collaborative system among the three companies for product commercialization. Pluva Auto is an aftermarket autonomous driving module that can be installed after vehicle delivery. It can be attached to existing tractors to implement Level 2 autonomous driving functions, including automatic steering. Its compatibility with various brands and models is noteworthy.

Gint, Foresight, and Connec plan to integrate Foresight's 3D vision system, "ScaleCam," into these products, thereby advancing into the pre-market (OEM) market, where autonomous driving capabilities are integrated into tractor manufacturing. ScaleCam is a vision recognition system based on binocular stereo cameras. It analyzes images captured by cameras installed on both sides to enable precise distance measurement and environmental awareness. Connec supplies the cameras.

Regarding this agreement, Foresight announced in a press release on August 11 (local time) that “the project is expected to generate up to $35 million (approximately 47 billion won) in revenue by 2030, with initial revenue expected to begin in 2026.”

“Automation is emerging as a major topic in the agricultural machinery industry,” said Kim Yong-hyun, CEO of Gint. “Once the product currently under development is commercialized, we plan to actively expand the supply of parts to global tractor manufacturers.”
