Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters Signs MOU with Daejeon Metropolitan City Daycare Center Association

The Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters (Director Shim Hye-seol), an international children's rights NGO, announced on the 18th that it had signed a business agreement with the Daejeon Metropolitan City Daycare Center Association (Chairperson Lee Ae-ran) to support vulnerable children in the region.

The signing ceremony took place at the Daejeon Metropolitan City Childcare Support Center, and was attended by Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters Director Sim Hye-seol and Daejeon Metropolitan City Daycare Center Association President Lee Ae-ran. The agreement aims to identify and support vulnerable children in the region, prevent psychological and emotional burnout among daycare workers, and provide proper parenting education to their guardians.

The key objectives of the agreement include: ▲ identifying and supporting children with immigrant backgrounds; ▲ identifying and providing psychological treatment for abused children; ▲ supporting healing programs for daycare teachers; and ▲ providing positive parenting education for guardians. The two organizations plan to launch the "Daycare Centers That Save Children" campaign as their first project following the agreement.

Lee Ae-ran, President of the Daejeon Metropolitan City Daycare Center Association, said, “We are delighted to be able to discover and support vulnerable children in the Daejeon area through our collaboration with Save the Children.” She added, “We will continue to work to promote children’s rights and create a happy childcare environment for both caregivers and staff.”

Save the Children Central Regional Headquarters Director Shim Hye-seol said, “Through this agreement, we will strengthen the discovery and support of vulnerable children in the Daejeon area and actively support child care workers and guardians to create a positive and sustainable child-rearing environment.”
