Duwat Wins Techsauce Innovation Awards 2025

Dowat Co. , Ltd. (Co-CEOs Jooyoung Kim and Byungkwon Seong/DOWHAT), a company specializing in smart hotel integration platforms, announced on the 14th that it won the 'Techsauce Innovation Awards 2025' at the '2025 Bangkok Tourism Startup Center (KTSC: Korea Tourism Startup Center) Demo Day' held at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC) in Bangkok, Thailand.

This Demo Day, an official program of Techsauce Global Summit 2025, saw 10 promising Korean startups in the tourism and tech sectors carefully selected to enter the Thai market. Duwat, a leading Korean smart hotel DX (digital transformation) platform, shared its market entry status and actual sales-based performance with the local judges, earning high praise and becoming the only Korean company to win the award.

Techsauce Global Summit, Asia's largest annual gathering of tech experts, startups, and investors from across Asia, took place in Bangkok from August 4th to 6th this year. Hosted by the Korea Tourism Organization, KTSC Demo Day highlights the potential of Korean startups to expand overseas. The Techsauce Innovation Awards, in particular, are awarded directly by the Techsauce organizing committee based on a comprehensive evaluation of innovation, localization strategies, and business model sustainability.

Seong Byeong-gwon, co-CEO of Duwat, said, “This event was not just an exhibition, but a meaningful opportunity to hold in-depth meetings with local companies and discuss specific business plans,” adding, “This will serve as a springboard for business expansion targeting not only Thailand but all of Southeast Asia.”
