The Gyeongnam Center for Creative Economy and Innovation hosted the "Investment Value-Up Intensive Mock IR Camp" at the Park Hyatt Busan from August 11th to 12th. The program aimed to strengthen the investment capabilities of the seven teams selected for the "2025 Preliminary Startup Package," focusing on practical training.
The participating teams were ▲Isamsail Co., Ltd. (Kang So-ra), ▲Aspiring entrepreneur Gong Ki-ho, ▲Ecocity Farm (Shin Ga-eun), ▲Data Builder Co., Ltd. (Lee Cheol-gyu), ▲Adfarm Co., Ltd. (Gong Ki-ho), ▲Hwetech Co., Ltd. (Choi Won-joong), and ▲Aspiring entrepreneur Choi Jeong-woo. After completing basic investment education through the "Investment Value-Up: Basics" course held on July 29, they had time to present and receive feedback through this advanced program.
On the first day of the camp, all participants gave mock investor relations (IR) presentations based on their startup ideas and received individual feedback from investment experts and judges. The one-on-one mentoring sessions that followed provided customized consulting for each startup, including business model improvement, investment pitch enhancement, and market strategy refinement.
As a result of the mock IR presentation, the grand prize went to CEO Won-Joong Choi of Wheattech Co., Ltd., who presented an ultra-accelerated whiskey manufacturing technology using an eco-friendly extraction process, and the excellence award went to CEO Gong Ki-Ho, a prospective entrepreneur, who presented an artificial intelligence-based fish school detection technology.
On the second day, a lecture on "AI Design" was held with support from Gyeongsangnam-do Province. Participants learned how to create IR materials using the latest AI-based design tools, strengthening their ability to create more professional and visually effective investment materials.
After the program, participants said, “It was a beneficial time that allowed us to make practical preparations for attracting investment,” and “The AI design lecture was also a practical training that can be helpful not only for future IR materials but also for creating marketing content.”
